Paternity Tests

A paternity test is generally a DNA test which is used to determine whether a man could be the biological father of a child.  Paternity tests are valuable in determining the true father of a child.

Paternity Tests - What to Expect

Blue Springs Chiropractic performs testing on several different sample types. The most commonly used sample is the buccal swab. This type of sample is collected by swabbing the inside of the cheek (buccal cavity) with a sterile cotton swab. In some cases Blood samples can also be used for paternity testing.

Blue Springs Chiropractic’s legal Paternity test are highly accurate, excluding, on average, more than 99.999% of non-parents. Paternity testing also provides a high probability of paternity.

Paternity Tests - What You Need

- The adults will need to supply a photo ID

- For Paternal DNA testing The child will need a SS Card or copy of the Birth Certificate if available.  We will take a digital image of the child at the appointment for our records.

DNA Tests

Blue Springs Chiropractic’s DNA testing protocols are designed to resolve routine DNA questions in less common cases, such as:
